In 8th Grade, students may branch into Algebra I for accelerated study.
6th Grade Math
Connecting ratio and rate to multiplication and division, mastering fractions, and introducing rational/negative numbers and basic statistics.
7th Grade Math
Developing proportional relationships, mastering operations with rational numbers, and exploring 2D/3D geometry and statistical inferences.
8th Grade Math
Focusing on expressions, linear equations, and regression. Grasping functions and the Pythagorean Theorem in unique situations.
Algebra I
Formalizing linear, exponential, and quadratic relationships. Includes a rich problem-solving portfolio for Consortium prep.
Geometry
