We are committed to working with families to ensure that every student has a safe way to get to and from school every day. Whether students walk, take the bus, or use the train, our doors open at 7:30 AM every day to welcome them for a successful day of learning.

Student OMNY Cards
We provide our students with OMNY tap-to-go passes for subway and city buses. These allow eligible students to get to and from school and school-related activities for free—all year long.
Distributed exclusively by MSHS 223. These cannot be obtained from MTA stations.
Good for 4 free trips every single day of the week, including weekends.
Includes free transfers between subway and local/Select Bus Service buses.
Your Student OMNY Card is active through the end of the school year.
Need Help with OMNY?
If your card is lost, stolen, or malfunctioning, let us know immediately in the main office. We will deactivate your old card and issue a replacement right away.
Yellow Bus Service
Curb-to-school transportation is reserved exclusively for students who have transportation recommended on their Individualized Education Program (IEP), 504 Accommodation Plan, or have an approved medical exception from the Office of Pupil Transportation.
